Baltimore Inner Harbor and Aquarium

Yet another awesome city to visit- Baltimore! We made the rounds, lemme tell ya. On Saturday, we headed down there with Mom to go to Inner Harbor and the National Aquarium. Dad, being the busy Bishop that he is, had to attend a baptism at church, so we missed him on this outing. It was a gorgeous day, though, and the Aquarium was so busy that when we bought tickets, they gave us a time that we could enter, which was about 2 hours later. That was a perfect amount of time to be able to walk around, eat lunch, and see the sights. I love the architecture right there in the Harbor. Everything just looks cool.

There are colorful dragon paddle boats that you can rent to ride around in. They were fun to watch. It was so good to see ocean water again- it's been so long! We need to get to a beach sometime soon.
Cam liked seeing all the big boats and ships.

Random fish sculpture that I liked.
I love that Barnes & Noble store- it's huge, and right on the edge of the water.
There's half of the aquarium, where they do dolphin shows and have more exhibits. It's connected by that walkway over the water.
Hard Rock Cafe!
We walked inside the shopping center along the harbor, looking in all the fun stores.
This candy store was awesome- it had so many random, unique things. Like gigantic versions of these sweets! Cami held a gummi bear that was about as big as her head.
Hahaha. That gummi worm is huuuuge. Gross if anyone eats that thing.
We decided to eat lunch at Noodles & Company, which was yummy. (We should have gone to Bubba Gump Shrimp- that sounds really good).
Then it was finally time to go to the aquarium! It's huge, and easily takes a few hours to walk through. We bought the passes that also included a 4D IMAX show and a dolphin show. It was really fun- the 20 minute movie they showed was Happy Feet, with a shortened version of the movie in 3D. They sprayed water and blew wind at certain parts, which Cami enjoyed! Stylin in their glasses.
Here we are, waiting for the dolphin show to start a little later.
We sat up high enough that we wouldn't get wet! The dolphins were cute little guys with fun tricks. Watching the trainers made me wonder, what would it be like to live life as a dolphin trainer? Interesting.
I love the jellyfish! They are always the most fascinating to me.

And in the rainforest exhibit, this guy was just chillin right in front of the glass, with a turtle near his mouth.
They had really cool exhibits of huge manta rays, sharks, and of course all the usual crazy fish. Lexi did great in her little carrier, thanks to Daddy lugging her around all day! She ate and slept in it, and we had a nice full day of sight-seeing. Thanks Mom, for joining in on the fun!
