Yospe Family Vacation to the Zermatt! Alpine Coaster, Cascade Springs, Heber Creeper

Look at that adorable little lady! She is ready for vacation! We had just gotten to the Park City Mountain Resort to begin our Yospe family vacation in July. After much deliberation, we decided to splurge and get tickets for both the alpine slide and the alpine coaster. The littler kids and Grandma all went on the slide, so were we are waiting for the ski lift.

The 6 of us sat on one lift chair, and it was dang scary to me! The lift kept stopping for long periods, and there we were, dangling hundreds of feet above the mountainside, with a squirming toddler who didn't want to hold still in her seat. Not cool. Cami loved it though. When we finally got to the top, we got on the track with our slides and were ready to roll!

The slide was fun, but it was kind of hard for me to push the lever forward all the way to go faster. So we coasted down kinda slowly, but it was fun winding down the hill and around the corners. After that, we got in line for the Alpine Coaster. It took a loooong time, and it was hot!

I went solo this time, and Cami went with Daddy. It's so cool, it's like a real roller coaster, in your own personal car!

It was a beeeeautiful day, and the mountains were so green and pretty!

At the top, it gives you complete control to go as fast or as slow as you want on the way down, but it's impossible to fall off the track. It was SO fun! I was hootin and hollerin the whole way down, whipping around corners and down little hills, like a real personal roller coaster. There's even a camera that takes your picture in the middle. Although it's $20 for one ride, it's worth it!

From Park City, we drove on to Midway to stay at the Zermatt Resort. Jake's dad won a voucher at a golf tournament, for a 2 condo stay. After some confusion, we found the 2 rooms, and split up into families and got settled. Jake and I love the Zermatt- we've stayed there a few times for our anniversary and have always been impressed. The condos we stayed in this time were really nice, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and full kitchen. Our room opened up to the courtyard with the swimming pool. We ate meals all together in the other room where Jake's parents were staying, so it all worked out great.

The next day, we went to Cascade Springs, a beautiful scenic spot in the mountains of Heber.

Back at the resort, we visited the goats on the hill. Lexi loved them, of course! She sqealed and squealed with delight.

The Zermatt is a swiss resort, which reminds me so much of Germany and Austria! Such fun buildings and atmosphere.

That day, we also went to the Heber Valley Railroad to ride the train! The kids had fun playing with this toy train while we waited.

We boarded the train and started on our journey through beautiful Heber, when all of a sudden the train stopped and a bandit boarded! He made us all put our hands up and scared the girls.

It was fun...he and some other outlaws acted out a whole scene, complete with gunshots. It made the experience even more fun.
