Age: 5 (How did that happen?!)

Favorite Songs: Uptown Funk, Lost Boy, Spookley the Square Pumpkin

Favorite Primary Song: Nephi's Courage, I Am A Child of God, I Love to See The Temple 

Favorite Song That Mommy Sings: Rockabye Baby (She loves me to hold her and do it and pretend to almost drop her at the end, and then hug and snuggle)

Favorite Animal: Giraffe (and then she listed tigers, alligators, elephants and rhinoceros's) Dogs! Especially Luna. She loves animals so much.

Favorite Food: "Creamies, pizza, chicken on the bone and ribs". Steak (she loves meat) toast (she likes to make her own in the morning), applesauce, waffles, Chick-fil-A and In N' Out, pickles, black olives, berries, kiwis, chips

Favorite Toys: "Luna". (I told her she's not a toy) "Ok, then, my Lego's!" She also loves playing with Barbies

Favorite Activity: she first answered with an inappropriate answer. I told her that's not acceptable. (she thinks it's so funny to use the word poop all the time. Mmmmm hmm) She said "Ok then, playing with Luna. And playing games with Mommy." She still likes puzzles, she likes jumping on our new trampoline that we got this summer, going to preschool (she just started at the high school preschool for her last year before kindergarten) riding her bike and scooter, swimming, playing on the playground, eating (she's always hungry), going to movies, playing on the ipad, helping Mom

Favorite Color: Orange (Thanks to Auntie Bree's influence) She told me she's going to change it to red when Christmas comes :)


Favorite Movie or Show: Ice Age? She just saw Finding Dory and The BFG and really liked those. Shows- Odd Squad, Tumble Leaf

Favorite thing to do with Mom: Play games (She gets a big stack of games at a time, and we work our way down the pile. Rat a Tat Cat, Set, Eye Found It, Uno, Sorry, Candy Land, and Wacky 6 are some of our favorites!)

Favorite thing to do with Dad: Go get ice cream and pizza

Best Buds: Cami, Luna, Anna, Owen, Jackson, James

Talents: Finding things! I spy, puzzles, drawing, "hula hooping" (she dazzled her preschool teacher on the first day by spinning a hula hoop around her neck), "monkey bars" (I reminded her that she just fell off and broke her arm, so we'll leave that one off) dancing (she did a year of ballet and was really good and adorable. She decided she wanted to do tumbling instead of dancing this year)
                                            

                                           

Biggest Accomplishments: Learned how to ride a bike without training wheels! (She learned in one day, and did such a great job! She also got her first razor scooter for her birthday, and is great on that too) Learned how to swim pretty well, where she can get herself to safety. Went on her first cruise and loved it! Grew 5 inches! Learned how to say her "s" words like snake, snack, snow, story. Started real preschool at West Jordan High School as a Junior Jag, got 9 stitches and a broken arm a month apart from each other (grrr). Learned how to do handstands, cartwheels and splits in tumbling class with Cami. Got a new doggy and learned to treat her nicely (it took a few months). Climbed all the way to the top of a climbing wall and rang the bell! Completed a few free lessons of Tae Kwon Doe and looked so so cute in the uniform. She performed in her winter and spring ballet recitals, and was the tallest and cutest one on stage! She also sang "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus" with our little family in sacrament meeting, and did such a great job with her sweet clear voice and confidence! Drove across the country and went to Nauvoo, St. Louis, and PA for an epic vacation!

Most Endearing Qualities: Her adorable round rosey cheeks, baby blue eyes, big gap-toothed smile, and blonde wavy curls! Lexi is loveable, snuggly and super funny. She makes us laugh every day. She's also very independent and loves to do things all by herself. She's very meticulous and careful in everything she does. She's clean, likes to make things nice and neat, and loves to help Mom clean and cook. When I ask her to make her bed, she makes hers AND Cami's, with all their stuffed animals placed neatly in groups. Also, her imagination and creativity are amazing! She can also play by herself with her toys for a long time, and it's so fun to hear her playing. She's sensitive and emotional. She cries at movies because of her tender heart, which she's been doing since she was like 2. (I remember a little cartoon movie about care bears that we watched in the van when she was tiny, and she got emotional watching a sad part and started quietly crying. It was so precious! Now she cries in Inside Out, Pete's Dragon, etc. So sweet) 

Qualities to Improve: Work on temper and defiance, and occasional screaming and tantrums. :) Be more patient with herself when she can't immediately do something right. Not scream when Mommy brushes her hair.

Goals For the Next Year: Start kindergarten, learn how to say R's, loose first tooth, NOT break any bones or need any stitches, :) Learn to read (she's getting there! She's doing an online preschool program called Upstart, which is helping her get there) Make new friends at preschool. Learn to tie shoes. Possibly become a big sister? Maybe? In my dreams? :) Not grow up too fast!

What She Wants To Be When She Grows Up: "A Librarian" :) (This is the first I've heard of this...but I support it!)

Current Stats: 40 lbs and 45 inches. She's 50% for weight and 90% for height! She's my big girl who will always be my baby. :)
