Time to catch up with blogging! Here are some pictures of Jake and I at my Grandma Willes's grandchildren Christmas party that she holds every year. She goes all out and bakes tons of goodies, orders yummy pizza for lunch, and provides 2 huge homemade cookies each (one person and one tree cookie) to decorate with icing and all kinds of toppings. She's way cute.
Oh yeah, and she makes everyone wear Santa hats. :)
This is my Mom's sister, Chris, and her cute little family. And below are the finished products of our people...pretty good, huh? Oh look, there's my mom's curly brown hair again.
And here we are LAST year at Grandma's party...my how we've both changed! I sure was a lot cuter and skinnier I think! That was right before our wedding, and NOW look at me.
And here are a couple of pictures in honor of Barbara. :) Above is on the 4th of July in 2007, with my mom and brother. And me and Grandma on Thanksgiving a few years ago...isn't she so cute and teensy??
Speaking of Grandma, she lives down in Orem, so we don't see her a whole lot, but it's always nice to get down that way to visit her and hear about all her recent adventures. She is the most active, outgoing, ever-learning person, let alone 80 something year old senior, that I know. She walks every morning at 6, takes all kinds of community classes, does photography, writes poetry and her personal history, travels all over, and of course is a member of the Red Hat Society for ladies. :) In March she's taking a trip to Jerusalem that she's been saving up for forever...she just never stops going! Definitely a huge role model for me. Love you Grandma!

Oh the Christmas cookie parties. I sure do miss those, but maybe not the santa hats! :) Love the shout out to grandma though. She definitely is an outgoing lady! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :)
