We caught a show that had acrobats and contortionists and stuff....pretty fun circus type thing. Here's Grandma and Cam in front of a dragon themed ride.
We took in a Little Caesar's pizza for dinner (since Jake worked landscaping there for 6 years and assured us that it's ok to take food in). And then I had a major craving for ice cream, so we hit up the Dreyer's ice cream shop in the cute little pioneer village. Double scoop of cookies & cream and cookie dough- yes please! Jake and I shared, and Mom shared her rocky road and mint chip with Cami. It was sooo good.
Its mate and babies were walking in the bushes. Cute little guys.
Cami got sooo messy with chocolate ice cream, that it was the perfect time to let her get dowsed in the fountain! She was unsure at first, and finally walked under the little fountain water arches with Grandma.
Then she let Dad talk her into going out a little further and getting splashed.
Before long, she was completely soaked and sticking her head in the water and laughing at how her ponytail flew up. She had a blast!
We changed her clothes, sat down and watched the Jukebox musical show with singing and dancing teens in fun costumes, and then headed to Kiddieland.
Cam's never been on a ride before, so we wanted her to have her first experience! Did you know they sell tickets for individual rides? Yup, it's $2 for a kid ride...she was so excited! She got to ride on the baby boats next to a cute little girl who monopolized the bell. Cami didn't mind though, she was focused on steering!I just can't believe my little baby's old enough to stand in line for a ride and go on it by herself! *sigh*
She rode on the flyiing airplanes, too, and didn't stop grinning the whole time! It was funny to watch her pulling on the lever and making their airplane go up and down.
She loved the little boy behind her, and referred to him as "the funny boy". So cute.
After tons of walking, seeing some animals and visiting with some families from our ward, I was expired. :) Such a wuss, I get soooo tired so easily these days, and the Braxton Hicks contractions come all the time, so I don't last long. But we stayed till about 9:15, and it was a fun night at Lagoon!
