New Years Eve!

New Years Eve was so much fun this year! We sure missed Bree at the celebration, because she would have made it 10 times better, but it was still an awesome Toone party. We got it started with an early dinner, and then preparations of lots of yummy appetizers and treats. Then Mom whipped out the hand bells for all the kids to play.
It was so funny to listen to the instructions over and over again..."Hold it by the handle! Don't pull on the ball! Only one ring at a time. Wait till it's your turn!" It was madness. :) But cute madness.
They played a couple Christmas songs, and it was beautiful melodious music to our ears. Just look at the joy on everyone's faces!
Uhh I think Ari is shaking her hips in this one!
I made my favorite appetizer- sausage and zucchini stuffed mushrooms! Onion, garlic, zucchini, sausage, spinach, mmmmm. There was lots of other food to be eaten during the course of the night.
Jake entertained the kids at about 8:00 by reading a story very animatedly
And then it came time for the KIDS New Years Countdown! We decided to do a countdown around 9:00 so that they could still have all the fun and excitement without having to stay up till midnight. Brilliant! David found a fun music and video countdown to play on the big screen, Allison blew up hoards of balloons, and there were streamers and lots of noise and excitement!

My babies! Another year gone by too fast! Can time just stop, please? But Happy New Year.
It wouldn't have been complete without a dance party. David, who brought the dance out in all of us, had an awesome playlist. He was the DJ, and we rocked it out in the living room.
Even Mom and Dad danced! I love this picture.
We said goodnight to most of the kids before midnight, although Cami wasn't fooled. She really wanted to stay up, but I think she went to bed around 10:30. The rest of us ate more, played games, and rang in the New Year together. Such a fun night! Happy 2015!
