We got to pick Grandpa up from the airport when he came the other week. We waited by the security gate and saw him walking down the hall, and Cami just froze in place with a look of "not sure what to do". But as soon as he picked her up and gave her loves, she remembered and was a happy girl. Although, she did put on her shy facade and didn't say one word until we were halfway home in the car.
Sorry for the slightly blurry pictures...i didn't realize there were smudges on the lens from little fingers. When we got home, we showed Grandpa our new basement, and he got right down to business in Cami's playroom.
And showed Cami how to have a sword fight.
Dad hadn't slept at all the night before, but he has a knack for making grandchildren feel like they're the most important people in the world. He doesn't say no, either, so sometimes there'll be book after book after book after flying after wheeeee before he makes me break the bad news that he needs to go the bathroom or to bed. :) Cute Dad.
On Superbowl Sunday, here's Cami all dolled up for church before we headed down to Springville for Britt's family Superbowl party.
Matthew (who Cami has gone from calling Matt to Maa-yoooo), Bryan, Ari and Cam had a hayday with all the food. Pulled pork sandwiches, chips and pizza dip, 7 layer dip, jello, jigglers, cookies, brownies. I ate way too much.
They had fun hanging out during the game.
Gotta love these two pink princesses! I love how their eyes are SO different.
Here's a good daddy reading to the girls.
I didn't care so much about the game as much as the food. :) And company. And Nathan and Allison brought Katelyn over, and I had fun feeding her a bottle and talking to Mom on skype with them for a long time.
And here are Cami and Bambpa on the day he had to go home. We drove him to the airport and said See Ya until April when he and my mom come again. Yay!
(I just like Cam's face in this one, and her little hand on Dad's shoulder).
Awwww. Bye Bye, Bambpa. We love you!

Oh, so sweet. He is a pretty great grandpa! April's going to be so much fun when they're BOTH here!
Yes, it will be fun!! He sure had a fun time and he loves being Bampa! Those glasses make me laugh- right out of the 80's! Lost his good ones....we need to get him some more- and a little smaller! =) Love the picture of the two little princesses!
