What a treat it is to see this temple. I love it. We went to church at a random ward on Sunday morning, and then drove to the temple and walked around the grounds. It was a beautiful day!
They had this nativity that the girls thought was so fun to play in.

After the temple, we drove back to our hotel to eat lunch and change clothes. Then we went to Old Town for some fun! Santa and sombreros. Lexi haha.
We went to the Mormon Battalion Center and did the whole interactive tour/panning for gold experience. The girls thought it was pretty cool!
Those pictures come alive and talk to each other and to the audience. It's pretty funny.
The kids get to pan for gold and pick their 3 biggest chunks that they find. Score!

We ate a delicious dinner at this Mexican restaurant called Casa Del Reyes. There's so many Mexican restaurants, you can't go wrong! We filled up on fresh tortilla chips and salsa, and I had blackened salmon which was yummy!
After Old Town, we drove to the Hotel del Coronado to end our day. Cami found this giant palm frond on the ground and it was just her size!
Beach pictures are in the next post. We love this place though- it's so beautiful and unique.
