At the end of February, Grandpa Yospe asked if Cami wanted to help him present the trophy at the Utes Gymnastics Meet, since RC Willey sponsors it. She agreed, so we dolled her up in black and red, the Ute colors (I promise I'm still a BYU girl and will always stay true to my school). The Ute girls gymnastics team is amazing, though, and the meets are lots of fun. Lights, cheering, fun atmosphere, impressive gymastics- makes for a fun family night!
Towards the end of the meet, it was time for Cami and Grandpa to make their way down to the floor. She was very nervous, although I'm so proud of her for not backing out! She even posed with Swoop, the Ute hawk mascot.

We watched as they waited under the tunnel, as the team finished up their floor routines.
Then at the end of the meet, the announcer said, and now, to present the trophy to the winning team, here is Clark Yospe, and his granddaughter Cami Yospe!
She clung to Clark's hand for dear life as they walked out onto the floor. She carried the flowers to the opposing team.
And waited to give the trophy to the Utes.
After which, they crowded around her for a picture! How cute is that?! She loves gymnastics, so who knows, maybe she'll be a gymnast someday too!
