Swim Lessons

For the second year in a row, we did swimming lessons through a couple in Riverton who do it in their backyard pool. It was Lexi's first year of swim lessons, and although she's pretty hesitant, she did great! Cami loves the water, and is improving each year. She needs to work on keeping her body up at the top of the water, and kicking her legs on the surface, and stroking. But she's great at holding her breath and jumping in!
Little Lexi Lou did great for her age group, and Miss Sally was impressed.
My cute little 3 year old fishie!
Action shot of Cami jumping in!
And checking on the little dog, Maggie, who she adored and feared at the same time. :)
 Cami's class
Lexi still had to wear swim diapers, which seemed silly, but anyone under 4 had to. She's way past that!
She got much braver at jumping in without holding someone's hand.
And on the last day of classes (They went every day, M-Th for 2 weeks), they got to go down the water slide! Both girls were so excited when it came time for that.

 Cami practiced with a kickboard.
 And floated on her back
And she earned her slide time!

 Woo hoo!
Until next year- they can't wait! Having been on swim teams for years starting when I was 8, I would love to have little swimmers in the family! :)
