Just like any girl, Cambria felt the need to get dolled up for her first party. She was invited to her friend, Jacob's first birthday party, and was very excited. She put on a new outfit, complete with boots that usually stay on for about 20 seconds, and made sure she remembered the curler for her hair. Here she is perusing her bow box, trying to find the perfect accessory. (Maybe in a year or so she'll let me actually put one in her hair. For now, she just likes to play with and admire them.)
The party was a fun time, complete with food, monkey cupcakes, balloons, games and goody bags. Her favorite part, along with the birthday boy, were the Balloooooons! Of course! I love this picture....babies in wonderment.

Babies got together on the couch to hang out for a minute. Cami looks concerned over something...she just wasn't in the mood for posing.
She even posed with little George and his favorite treat.
Even though she was tired and cranky, Cami had a great time at her first party. Thanks, Jacob! She kept darting for the stairs and climbing with delight, enjoyed playing with Fisher Price animals and endless balloons, and loved the attention from the little boys and party guests. Can't believe she's old enough to party and is almost a year old herself!
