Don't you love how December is the most awesome month ever? Always holiday festivities going on, family and friend get togethers, lights, music, yummy smells and treats, anticipation and excitement. I love it. We were especially excited this past December to welcome Brittney and her family for a nice long visit, along with my parents for Christmas vacation! What a treat! Up until they arrived, we found things to keep us occupied to pass the time. :)
Smith's Marketplace is our awesome grocery store that has car carts (Lexi's favorite), free fruit for kids, and kiddie ice cream cones. It makes having to run an errand after school not SO bad! Note the Beanie Boo: Cami had just asked for a Beanie Boo for Christmas, when she went to her friend Payton's birthday party over the weekend and got her very own as a party favor! She was more excited than I have ever seen her, pretty much. It's a unicorn named Fantasia. Silly girlies.
We took a trip to the Dinosaur Museum with Esther and Walter, and I couldn't resist getting a shot with the shark.
Cute kiddos. Haha Lexi was trying SO hard to be brave with her back turned to the shark, that she overcompensated with the crazy smile!
While at Thanksgiving Point, we took our letters to Santa, and dropped them off at the real Santa mailbox by the reindeer! Here's Lexi's letter that she asked Cami to write for her:

Not quite like how I used to do mine as a little girl. I'd spend tons of time making it really pretty, colorful, neat, numbered and everything. :) Oh well, he gets the picture.

This was a beautiful sunset in Centerville at Yospe family dinner one week.
Granny Goose (Grandma Yospe) asked all the grandkids to help decorate her tree in the front room. She has hundreds of Santas, so there were plenty for all to hang!
It got a little bottom heavy. :)
And the day arrived that we got a really good snow! Alas!
We met up with friends from our ward at the apartments, and played and played in the snow. The kids loved helping roll snowballs to try to make a snowman. These are the Madsen and Roylance families.

This was the best I could do. hahaha
After a few hours, Tenille invited us in to her home and fed everyone cookies and hot chocolate. It was a perfect snow day! Then when Cami got home from school, of course she wanted to go out and play, so Lexi did it all over again!
What could make a world covered in snow better? A light show! We found a fun musical light show to watch near our house, and put up our own Icicle lights on our house. So festive!
