I forgot- that Friday night after visiting Bree at work, the day my parents got here, we went to our ward Christmas party! How could I forget that? It was a fun waffle breakfast bar, with music and a special visit from Santa. The girls didn't miss the chance to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted!
And Britt sat on her Daddy's lap! :) We said, "Hey yeah Dad, you would make an awesome Santa!" He didn't like that very much. I don't know why?? It does NOT mean he's old and has a belly like a bowl full of jelly. It's just that he has a jolly happy face and smile! :) We gotta get him a suit.
THEN, on Sunday morning before church, we had a nice lazy morning reading books with Grandma in jammies. I loved this scene.

Britt and her family and Mom and Dad got to all come to our ward, and it was so fun seeing their face in the congregation! The choir sang 3 songs, and it was a wonderful program.
And that night was THE ONE, THE only....Grandma Christmas Cookie Party! I love love love that Grandma Willes can still do this tradition at her house with all the family gathered together to decorate cookies and visit. It's such a fun time, putting on Santa hats, listening to Christmas music on the piano, eating pizza, filling the house with joyous noise and chaos. Grandma makes all her candy and truffles a month ahead, and all the cookies a week ahead, just so she can be all ready. Some of the kids take their job pretty seriously!
Cami and Ari were anxious to sing a song out of one of Cami's piano books. :)
Awww we love Cass. This was the last family party she will have attended as a single lady, seeing how she's getting married next week! The kids love her...she'll always be another aunt to them!
